So, I'm down another .6 lbs this morning for a total of 10.7! Woot Woot! Yesterday I posted my weigh in after I woke up early, and in reality when I weighed again 30 minutes later before getting dressed, I was down a few more ounces than my initial wake up weigh in. I'll take every ounce I can get rid of!!!!! HAHA
So, that's a small loss, even after a day of having red meat, but I'm good with that. I feel AWESOME this morning. Very encouraged and motivated. Went and got my hair cut last night and my eyebrows waxed. I feel like a new me!!!! So that was my first goal and reward. 10 lbs gone, new hair do to enhance the loss! :)
Today its back to a fish & veggies. I'm thinking Fish & Grape Tomatoes today. Yep, that's the plan. OH, and 4 liters of water!
Just a small tip, get all the water in before 4 or 5 in the afternoon, so that you won't be waking up all hours of the night to pee!!!! hehe

Day 8 continued
Just a brief note. I realized at 9:45am that I had forgotten my shot, so I had to run home and get my shot taken care of and then return to work. Not sure if it was the delay in the shot, or what, but I was starving yesterday. Truely stomach growling non-stop hungry. So at lunch time I went to the grocery store and bought 93/7% lean beef premade hamburger beef patties and went home to eat a burger. I cut it down to 3.5 ounches and mashed the patty thin and cooked it in the skillet w/chili powder and pepper. Wrapped it up in 2 lettuce leaves w/a tsp of yellow mustard. It was the best burger EVER!!!! haha I guess when you haven't had red meat for a few days, one would say that. I felt full and very satisfied. So for dinner, I had the same exact meal and loved it.
From reading various message boards, I knew that the red meat would slow me down, but I needed something more substantial than chicken or fish. So I took the risk! 3 liters of water today, with about 3 glasses of unsweet tea with lemon and sweet-n-low.

Day 8
Shot #7 today, after taking yesterday as a no shot day. Down another -1.4 pounds for a total of 9.5 lost! Yay!!!
I was hoping to hit the 10 lb mark today, but only being .5 from that goal is ok too! I'm proud of myself thus far. Last night my entire household went out for ice cream and I had to hide in my room to resist the temptations. Ugh! But I did fine and the scale rewarded me this morning. I don't want to cheat and give myself a setback. I'm not sure if knowing that I have a follow up visit with Ann on July 1st is whats keeping me from cheating, but it definately doesn't hurt! I want to have true success with this.
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!!!!!

Chicken & Cucumbers day. Added some shredded iceburg lettuce w/my cucumbers to add some bulk to my meals. Helped alot. 1 apple and 1 melba. 4 Liters Water. 2 big glasses of unsweetened tea with lemon and sweet n low.
Felt really good today, and wasn't as hungry as I was afraid of being on a no shot day.

Day 6
Shot # 6, Day 4 of 500 calorie diet.
Down -.6 pound today, for a total of -6.1
My initial thoughts are that the tomatoes the past 2 days were not the best idea. So today will be cucumbers. Also the mixed vegetables yesterday could be reason for the slow down. I'm not discouraged though. A loss, is still a loss!
So today I am planning a chicken & cucumber day, with an apple and melba toast of course :)

Day 5
Shot 5, Right leg. Day 3 of 500 calorie diet.
Down another 1.8 pounds today....total of 5.5 pounds so far! Yay!
Sunday church day. Had an early lunch of 3.5 ounces of Tilapia w/Fire Seasonings.....cooked in a ziploc microwave steamer bag. With fresh tomatoes w/pepper. Very tasty. Had a small apple as well.
Drank a glass of tea with 1 packet sweet n low and 1/4 of squeezed lemon. Getting use to the difference, but I do miss my southern sweet tea.
Went back to church for a session w/the church staff and was again tempted with delicious foods. I had only a small green salad though, with a few cherry tomatoes & cucumbers and 3 black olives. The olives were definately not on the allowed list. The good news is that I resisted the temptation of homemade lasagna and strawberry shortcake!!!!! My husband and daughter sat on each side of me enjoying their meal. I drank about 3 glasses of water instead, to keep me from caving in.
For dinner, I had the remainder of my 3.5 ounces of Tilapia w/Fire Seasonings and more water.
Today's water intake is at 4 liters. The bathroom is indeed my most frequented place!

So this was Saturday, a day home with the family with 2 outtings. The first test of my willpower and strength. Took my daughter to her softball party, middle of the day, with only my jug of water in tow.
They feasted on PIZZA and chips and cake, and my daughter sat in front of me chowing down and enjoying a nice cold canned dr pepper. My weakness!!! I refrained. The only thing I could eat was about 4 cherry tomatoes and unfortunately I caved and had 3 small chunks of watermelon. I was starving and trying my best to stay away from the pizza. I washed it down with another liter of water though. Ugh.
Came home and had my 2 chicken tenderloins and tomatoes & melba toast, covered in pepper.
For dinner, the same meal. Had my apple around 8pm.
Overall, I didn't experience the caffeiene withdrawal headaches that I was expecting. Thankfully.

Day 4

Day 3
Shot 3. First Day of Very Low Calorie Diet. 500 calories today.
Started drinking my water early, had to eat my apple around 9:45 when I first started to feel hungry. Had 1 cup of green tea, steeped with 1 packet of Sweet N Low.
Came home for lunch and had 2 chicken tenderloins, cooked in mixed spices, 1 handful of diced cucumbers w/pepper & pinch of salt, and one piece of melba toast. Had another small apple at 4:30 while in route home from work. Dinner was the exact same.
Had a massive headache that began around 2pm and didn't ease off until after 9pm. Figured it was from my first day of no carbonated sodas. Was actually quite miserable with headache and hunger pains from 6-9pm, and had to make a glass of unsweetened tea with 1/4 of a lemon squeezed in it, and 1 packet of sweet n low. Ate one small strawberry to sooth my sweet tooth and hunger pains. The hunger didn't go away, but it did make me feel better to of eaten something small.

Chocolate Chip & Banana Nut Muffins for breakfast with milk. Ham & Cheese Sandwich with Mayo for lunch. Mid afternoon large McD's Sweet Tea, McDouble Cheeseburger, Hot Fudge Sundae. Dinner was penne pasta with Ground Beef and Sausage. Small piece of pecan pie. Slim Jim.
Felt absolutely gross for eating all that fattening, high carb food. Glad that part was over.

The Beginning.....
On Tuesday, 6/7, I had my consultation with my doctor's office and received my Rx of HCG for injection. She instructed me on how to eat, what to drink, and how to draw up my injections and give myself the injections.
We discussed when I would start the diet. She suggested Monday 6/13 so that I could load over the weekend. I left feeling motivated and encouraged. When I sat down to review my calendar, I decided that there was no reason to wait to get started. So I decided to do my first injection the next day.
